I'm going to give some advice: Don't give up on something that sucks, my book's first draft sucked worse than, well, I can't think of anything horrible at the moment. I realized this and thought 'I can do better than this!'. Now, are you going to look at your crap and think 'I can do better, hell! I will do better!' or are you going to give up on something you barely even started to do?
Think about it.
