Ye ol' dragon lover DraconicDink has unleashed the Dink.ini Rewrite. It allows D-Mod authors to have dink.ini that is nice-and-organized. You should be able to easily plug it into any existing projects. If you've added graphics, though, you'll need to add them to this dink.ini too.

Well as far as i can figure it should theoritically work in existing products since the sprite numbers have not been changed, just their physical location of the command lines in the ini. I mean it worked in the dmod I am working on (probably just a quest), but that doesn't mean it will for others. It is best to er on the side of caution and if you must do it back up the original first just in case it doesn't work. If there you spot any bugs or have any suggestions on how to improve it then please review it with them listed. If you do then you will be listed in the Credits.txt file that accompanies it.

Ohhhhh. I misunderstood what you did. I thought you changed all of the sprite numbers I'll amend my news post.

Opps! I forgot to mention in the Readme file the copying of the new graphics that you are already using into my rewrite and that a few seemingly non-existent sprites have been deleted (they left only blank squares in the sprite pickers for me in DinkEdit and WinDinkEdit). Or even how to install it (obvious as it is). Silly me! How could I forget such important things! I will fix it immediatly so that future versions mention them.

Oh, and don't worry, it was an easy enough mistake to make. (Although I am considering a little experiement to find out what sprites are hard wired in so that I can do that, making the graphics easier to find in DinkEdit and WinDinkEdit. But then I might not, since there probably isn't enough non-hard wired sprites for it to be worth it. I know thanks to some of the nice people here at the network that Dink's sprites are and that the sprite at number 10 is. I also intend to do an experiement with using DinkEdit to change the hardness of sprites so that I can see if it is worth doing a version that fixes a few hardness issues (mainly unrealistically small hardness boxes). But don't worry folks, I only do I won't bother if I find out I can't do enough of an improvement for it to be worth it or if I find it will cause bugs.)

There I have done a new version (1.01) that has updated the Readme file to mention those things and a few others. Also the Credits file has been updated. Won't bother releasing it yet as the updates don't serve any real purpose. Unless of course there is enough demand for it, but I can't see that happening for what is just a minor patch to the Readme and Credits files.

No the that one only grouped the ones of the same number. Mine goes one step further by grouping them by type instead.

dont count on it. scripting and laziness is playing a BIG factor at the time.
