Peasant She/Her Australia rumble
(?・ω・`)
Hello every nyan! I don't know if you guys know this, but I've loved writing since I was a wee tot. One thing I've noticed in reading reviews on The Dink Network recently is that

- there's a distinct lack of actual literary merit to 90% of the reviews on this site (they have a 2000s charm to them that I love, where people thought with their heart more than their head, but it was hardly professional).
- new D-Mods and files almost never get reviews and this is a shame because
a.having a review score is a huge help in the cataloguing of a contribution, and while this is not the true purpose of a review, I still feel that having someone write their thoughts on your work is something of a decent reward for having contributed. We are, after all, long past the age when poor quality files were submitted en masse, so let's face it, reviews are something of a thank you to the author these days.
b. these are some damn good files and they deserve reviews.
- they're much easier to write to contribute to the community instead of making D-Mods which take way too time and effort for the average Dinker these days.

As my way of giving back to the community, I'd like to announce a contest! A contest, you say? This is for a Steam game, it won't be a new $70 (or $100 here, duck my life) AAA game I'm afraid, but it will be something nice cute soft decent and sweet to soothe your wonderful little soul.

Friends, I am very drunk right now.

Review Rumble 2023 - Rules

Any new review written from 20th September, 2023 to 1st October, 2023 will be considered as an entry into the contest IF:

1. It is for a file that was uploaded in the 2020-23 period.
2. The file did not have any reviews prior to this post being published.
3. The reviews are formatted professionally enough for me to be able to read them without grimacing.

As for the prize, it will be winner's choice. HOWEVER:

1. It must be a Steam game that can be gifted from the Australian region.
2. It must be priced under USD 10 or AUD 15.
3. It must not be published by New Blood Interactive. Sorry, I have a personal vendetta.

If anyone has questions or any amendments are to be made to this contest, or anything else that needs changing or doing or answering or fixing or tap-dancing to, just let me know.

N.B. I am only tagging Periculo Island as an example of a file that needs reviewing, please change this to General Dink Discussion if needed because it seems to be broken.

N.N.B. I'm judging the reviews, I forgot to mention that before. Post in this thread when your reviews get accepted. If they get accepted late just let me know you submitted them before the deadline.

N.N.N.B. I'm upping the prize pool to THREE winners who shall receive a USD 30 game for first place, USD 20 game for second place and USD 10 game for third place. Money's no object.

N.N.N.N.B. Please for the love of God someone participate.

N.N.N.N.N.B. I see you lurking there.
