Thanks brassweasel (and others) for your kind words about my enthusiasm here on the DN.
Since some seem to focus on my (relatively recent) active participation in the DN forums and my sincere and active interest the construction and enjoyment of new (to me) dmods, I thought I should step in here and mention a few things.
I think you have good intentions baphomet. I assume you want to increase the number of dmod users and therefore dmod makers. Speaking for myself, I have to admit the price (free!) was just right in getting me interested in the DN so many years ago.
Being somewhat less of a social butterfly than many others, I can assure you that having any barriers to "entry" into the hallowed community of DN-lurking-downloaders, such as requiring membership to download dmods and other files would have stopped me cold. I'm not a "joiner" by nature. Heck, it took me years to get past just downloading and starting up a more active participation here.
That being said, I don't want to stop this discussion that seems to focus on finding what we can do to get more people to make more dmods.
