Haha DaVince, I used to have an Atari 2600. shoot graphics, but some good games. I know your post was sarcastic, but I never remember playing a FPS on Atari.
Also, I don't like Wii, but that's because I think a lot of the games are crap. DS is kinda good, havn't tried a DSi, previous Nintendo consoles had some great games. PS3 has great graphics, much better than PS2, and some good games. PS2 has lame graphics with certain games, especially GTA: SA I felt like I was playing in 16 bit mode. I havn't played a PSP yet. XBox 360 is alright, with many of the same games as PS3.
My overall opinion:
- PS3 and XBox 360 are for the more hardcore gamers
- PSP and DS obviously for portability
- Wii is more of a family console
- PCs are by far the most versatily platforms you could get, but are more expensive
