Christmas is one week away. Little children are trying to save their quarters to buy mommy perfume and daddy a cool shirt.

My question is: what do you want for Christmas. And what did you get for others?

Um, I want my tuition paid off, but I know that's not happening... And well, I got some nice candy canes for people. They are really nice. Oh, and I sent an e-mail to everyone in my calc. class, cause, well, I was sorta lazy to send it to the few I know, so, well, what are mailing lists for, if not for you to use them?

Ah, it's fun exploiting holes in the system. It's even better when they don't fix them.

Mr. Clause,(can I call you Santa?) for Christmas I just want out of debt. Oh, nevermind. I'd just spend my way back in...
A new comp would be my pick. For others it could be anything. Microwave for my wife, video games for the tots, I installed new lino in the basement of my in-laws. DVDs for the rest. Oh ya, I settled for chocolate for myself.

Hmm.For my dad,so far,I got him these outdoor glass lanterns.And for my stepmother,I got her this glass candle holder that looks like an apple.I have way more shopping to do still.
*sigh* I asked for new shelving for my spare room and a new computer microphone and speakers.
I'm so greedy.

EDIT: I also signed up for a free reading at astrology.com and as a result got to name a star for my dad.I printed up a certificate and I am going to get it framed.

I wished for more woolen socks (hipulit!!) and chocolate. I haven't yet got anything for others... I really suck at choosing gifts.

I'm getting a piece of coal. My family are unbelievably generous.

I want Fighting gloves, and satanic armour or whatever its called. and of course "Ape escape" on playstation 2

I hope I'll get some useful books + some less useful books (love reading), and hopefully some wrestling stuff (which always is fun).

What did I get for others? Let's see.. for friends, I aimed for things they'd genuinely like (themes this year being, one theme per friend: intellectual elitism, Emily Strange, Manowar+dogs, and Old Masters' paintings) but nothing very expensive..

For dad, I got a book on shamans in the Ural areas and thin black markers.

For mom, I got one of those little machines that produces tape that has letters on it - for marking photo albums and such, diskette cases and furry socks.

Somehow, these sound more imaginative than they are...

I was anonymously tipped off that I'll get a bottle of something from my friends... I hope it's not pee Well, I hope I get lots of cd's, maybe a memory card for my cell phone too. Yah, and woollen socks, of course!

I'm going to give a AC/DC adapter for my best friend. Actually he needs it! Dunno if I can find anything else for anybody. It's very unlikely...
