Skard Bug... Game crashes

Hey,
I realize that this game was created quite awhile ago. Anyways, I've recently rediscovered Dink Smallwood, and began playing it again.
Anyways, this D-Mod crashes crashes every time I get the Skard magic. After I push I Skard to the lady in the lake, and the cut-scene occurs, I get the Skard magic where the Skard scroll shows up, but the game crashes every time after that. I do not know why.
Perhaps someone can help me out? Thanks.

Uh, You do know that DFarc is just the front-end don't you? It doesn't actually run anything.
I just checked the source, and I can confirm it's not the "name of item/magic script too long"-bug that freedink has. Since all add_magic and add_item calls only use script names of 8 or less characters.
EDIT: also not the sp_custom bug, because sp_custom didn't exist when PQ got released.

I'm thinking that it may have more to do with whatever the next scene is supposed to be. Because once the Skard scroll shows up and explains what Skard does and it works, I push the spacebar, the screen fades away, turns to black, and then the game crashes.
Also, I have not used any cheats. The only thing I've done is mess around on WinDinkEdit by adding more only gold chests, and potions. That's the only cheat I've done.

Messing around in windinkedit should not be a problem as long as you don't remove things. The problem must be in freedink.
Actually this might very well be the problem. Pilgrim's quest has an intergrated anti-cheat system, it might be that this system is triggered somehow.
I quite sure it doesn't prevent you from progressing without telling you, haven't looked in the source though.
Indeed, it shouldn't. But hey, I'm just guessing here too! And it is an anomality...
I'm not sure how adding only potions and gold chests would mess anything up. Perhaps it might, but I dont see how it could. The reason why is because I added the gold chests and potions early in the game (around the time you get the herb boots). Meanwhile, the game crashes much later, doing the time of Skard.
Could it be that the game has integrated an skill(potions) level limit?
