This dmod will contain some thing unique for dmods like, bosses scripted from scratch and Zelda inspired dungeons with Zelda-inspired puzzles. It will also conatain many new graphics and some by other well know creators. (Ric, SimonK and Rabidwolf9)
Most of the graphics I've made aren't 3d models though, but some houses are.
And of course it will have some mini-games.

The graphics were fine and to me they didn't look out of place at any point. But be sure to set the depth ques right this time so player can't walk under mats and stuff like that.
Now when the draw_status problem is solved I'll come with some information.

I'm thinking about Zelda-inspired puzzles like switches you have to pull and blocks to push an put on a button.
I'll add new weapons and spells (Atleast one each) and make some more interesting scripted bosses.
Monsters will have a small chanse of dropping swords and potions or other items that you can use or sell.

About the drawings; I thought the new enemies were very original and they looked just awesome... What program are you using when you're drawing new sprites?
You should definitely draw more new enemies to your upcoming D-Mod, I can't stand another pillbug or slime...(excluding THE Pillbug now, of course). New enemies bring more depth to a D-Mod.

Progress is going a bit slowly as I'm also re-playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. But it allways inspire me and give me grat ideas for the dmod.
Runaway (I might change the name) is going to be like two times bigger than 'The Bomb' but will have three times as long playtime.
I've compleated the first Quest that follows the intro and I'm working on a cut scene that will lead into the main quest.

Ok, time for a update to this thread.
So, Three Amulets (a.k.a Runaway) is progressing fast now.
I've got 70 + scripts now, the first dungeon (includeing boss) is fully mapped and scripted.
New stuff!
Every time you level up you get 'magic tokens' instead of attribute points.
In level 1-5 you get 1 magic token each level.
In level 5-10 you get 2 magic tokens each level.
In level 10+ you get 3 magic tokens each level.
You also get magic tokens by killing bosses. (first boss give 5)
You can earn extra tokens by compleating side quests.
You spend your magic tokens at a magican.
You can buy the following:
Increase a stat by one point - 1 token
Increase health by 3 for 1 token
Buy spells (Fireball cost 3 tokens)
Upgrade spells (All spells has 2 levels, If you upgrade it will get better, for example: Upgrade fireball for 3 extra tokens and it will realease one fireballs in all 4 directions upon use, If you upgrade heal it will heal for like +10)

It sounds really nice... 60 scripts in just a few days are very good!

Should you keep the player from certain spells/stats in early stages of the game or are players free to choose however they like throughout the game? You've probably figured something out, I'll continue follow this thread with interest. Also, I think "Three Amulets" sounds better than "Runaway".

Well you have to come to a certain level before you can upgrade specific spells.

It's longer than 'The Bomb' now, both in scripts and playtime, and according to some of my friends that has played the first part, it's better

So, this week I've added some animated graphics for some stuff in the 2nd 'dungeon' next up is creating a monster and a boss graphic for that 'dungeon'. I've also added some fun scripts (one of them with help of metatarasal in the chat). I've added scripts to some villagers in the second town, Includeing a guy selling a bow. The bow script is from the orginal game but have some changes. Useing bow spend one arrow, wich you can buy or find. The 'critical hits' are changed, it's now 30% chance for 3 times the damage and 10% chance to deal 5 times the damage.
The bow will also be used in puzzles and things like that.

Really cool and original dungeon! I've a similar arrow system in my current D-Mod, it'll be fun to see the differences. 100 scripts are quite nice so far... I remember that I came to around ~240 scripts when I was finished with FoT (but then we didn't have so long development time either).

I won't work with this for a while, as I just realized that I should learn 3D-modelling for more good looking monsters.

Awh, that could take ages... Anyway, I suggest blender - if you want visual proof, just take a look at Simons files.

I kinda gave up the 3d modelling, so I've gotten some work done! (work = dmoding).
2nd dungeon is nearly finished, I just have to script the boss.

I thought the houses were quite cool. Not the best angle, but still original! The colors don't really blend in with the rest of the environment however, you should try make them lighter. Anyway, I liked them, you should definitely use them.
I'll try to make them lighter and I'll also try to fix the perspective, and if they look good I'll use them

Yea, I made them a bit lighter but didn't bother changing the perspective.
I didn't mind the perspective really, it doesn't look too wrong. By the way - you could always use the dark houses in the dead-ish area you've made.

While in shadow form your defence is set to 0 and you can't use items or spells but you move with 'Herb boots speed'. When you press 'End' again you get your defence back and you move with normal speed.

I'm at the last temple, at the boss... The boss is going to take quite a while though, it will be more complicated than the 2nd..
After that I just have to make the homeland of the goblins and the last boss fight... That will require another 100 scripts and will take about one month... Dmod will be delayed... Oh well...

You're doing the release estimate wrong. You make your guess and then add three months so you can take credit for being "early" and you have to really suck in order to be late.
Oh yeah, It's soon finished, like I said, maybe February.
The big moment we (well that should probably be I) have been waiting for is soon here, the release of Three Amulets. But first I will need some beta-tester. The testing should start around next Friday (The Friday after the upcoming Friday, that is).
So is anyone interested in testing this? The testers have to take notes of bugs and problems as they play, and I would like if they gave some ideas for improvements and such.

Wouldn't it be better to simply use the old testers from halfway through it? You're giving away the plotline and everything that happens when you replace the old ones >_>
I think people that haven't played it before should be able to find more bugs in the first part, and some of the tester didn't even contact me after testing last time, so I decided to find new.
