How do i freeze the enemy boss when dink walks onto the screen (so they can chat)? and then how do i lock the screen and make the boss attack dink right after that?

It's probably simplest to run the cutscene from the boss's script. Then you can just refer to him as &current_sprite.

If you're actually asking what the commands are, read dinkc.chm.

if i do that it would be harder to learn how the script works i think. it would help me more if someone gave me an example script for me to look at. and i'd rather not go searching through all those .c files

GlennGlenn doesn't want a custom title.
Read a tutorial or something. A boss script is pretty much easy to understand. As for the commands, can you look up int he DinkC reference.

Love! True love!
I don't think he meant actually copying it word for word, just analyze said script and sap out information. But, if he did mean copying it word for word and changing just a few sentences, Bad boy!

Daniel, there are clowns.
What's wrong with that? Lifting and modifying scripts from existing source is how most programming is done anyway.
