This is not a D-mod with a story or plot, but it is about a new way of levelling up.

You gain credits for killing monsters: 1 credit per monster. You can then cash the credits for raising magic, attack or defense, or to restore health. You can also buy spells or weapons with the credits.

More monsters per screen would have been handy, since you have to start with pillbugs and there are only a few monsters per screen. Also, you get 1 credit for a simple pillbug, but also for a slayer. It seems to me that you should get a bit more credits for a tougher monster.
Some other flaws have been mentioned by the other reviewers.

I wonder if this system will replace the old one. You have to go to a house to cash the credits in order to level up and that is a bit cumbersome manner.

Overall a new levelling up system that probably will not be used.
I will not rate this as a D-mod, since it would then have a very low score, but as an attempt to create a new levelling up system.

Ahh, hunting. A generaly good idea at first, though in this game, it is extremely flawed. Basicly, Dink have to run around a small and incredibly under-detailed map while killing monsters and earning credits, which are traded for weapons (A whole 2 different weapons. wow...) and better statistics.
So, how many things were wrong with this, let me count...
1. You got the choice to increase your magic, but it was impossible to get magic anyway!
2. when u buy a weapon, your credits go into minus credits, so u can buy a throwing axe and then kill lots of monsters easily to get them back from minus credits.
3. its tedious.
4. there's no goal.
5. the purple boncas can't hurt you with their tail whips. just stand still in front of one and punch away at it. I did... didn't hit me once.
6. the area in which you hunt takes place is extremly empty, with hardly any trees or any other background objects.
and finally...
7. The fact that its so BORING!

If you don't agree with my review, and actually liked this D-Mod, please don't e-mail me, as I don't wish to be associated with such people.
