killing dragons in story 5

I am having no luck killing the dragons in story 5. I have tried hellfire and the throwing axe. Am I using the wrong thing?
You shouldn't kill him. You should offer him something really precious. Like your

I am talking about the dragons in the stone giant area after you enter the cave beyond the fountain. Not the one dragon nearby the wizard. Thanks though.
