I don't have speakers, and so I play without sound. Is there any possible way I can get through the dancing on Odvi? Thanks...

Does your computer have a working port to your soundcard where you could plug in speakers? If so, all you need to do is plug in a set of headphones in that port and you should be able to hear out of them.

When I first played Fiat I didn't have speakers, and I asked the same question! The answer is no. It is not possible. The sounds are random, and the sequences are too long to try all the possiblities. Sorry.

Hello.
I have almost the same error.
I'm stuck trying to "dance".
When the fellow says "down tone", or "left tone",
or whatever, I just can't hear anything different. the background music just keeps playing itself, until a certain time it dies.
Are the tones generated by midi files ? where in the sound controls should I try to fix it ?
Thanks...

Hello folks.
I was playing Dink with a version that just seemed to ignore the -sound parameter. As I got it off, the sound was back and I was able to "dance".
Thanks for the time, and forgive my rookiness.

Good job using the search feature BTW. A lot of people seem to assume that whatever problems they have are unique in the known universe, and that searching for similar questions would be insulting.
That's something that annoys me on most message boards. Someone asks a question, response: "Use the search function". Usually not as polite as I just did. And when one actually uses the search function and doesn't get an answer, but finds a related problem and decides to add to that thread. "Thread necromancy is forbidden here. closed". I mean, what do they want you to do?
Reviving help and support threads doesn't really bother me, unless it's over something really stupid and pointless ("haha I had that problem too but it's gone!" five years later). It's the other types of thread-bumping that bother me, and others, a tad.
