Is the graphic in the graphic folder of your DMod?
Is the graphic named "TITLE-01" ?
Is the graphic a BMP?
Is the graphic compatible- does it have the right depth?

Skeleton folder where? Inside WDE folder? Your actual mod folder? Remember it needs dink palette for the bmp to work.

//If you're going to play a title midi, uncomment & change the following:
//playmidi("X.mid");

This is from the bottom of start.c.

Life? What's that? Can I download it?!
1. Put the 455.mid in the sounds folder.

2. Open up start.c with your favourite text editor.

3. At the bottom before the last kill_this_task, uncomment or add this line as stated by synbi:

playmidi("455.mid");

Gaddang simple.

Are you sure that you are playing the same D-Mod that you are editing?

Where is this skeleton? It should be in the same folder as all your other D-Mods.

Hmm..
Check if your dmod folder is in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Dink Smallwood

Windows likes to hide stuff sometimes

If other D-Mods don't show, it's because they aren't there... therefore your skeleton is in the wrong directory.

/facepalm

Copy the exact path that Iplaydink gave you into the Explorer address bar and see if you can see them there. Change "Username" to your Windows username.

Ok, sorry. In DFArc, select a D-Mod and click Edit > Browse Selected D-Mod Directory.

Does that work?

I think you misunderstood Iplaydink.

If you're using Windows 7, make sure your D-Mods haven't gone to C:\Users\Your Account\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Dink Smallwood. If they're there, then move them into your regular Dink Smallwood folder at C:\Program Files\Dink Smallwood. That should fix it.

What would help is a screenshot of each folder related to Dink and your d-mod, as well as the contents of your start.c files.
