The Dink Network

I started programming back in the time of dinosaurs, back before the beginnings of time, or at least affordable PC's. I've spent most of my time working in assembler and COBOL (COBOL is king!!), but eventually progressed to unix scripting (of boy what you can do with an awk). I live at home, with my wife and Sparky the dog. My daughter goes to college (Go Gators!!). I hope to bring new ideas to the Dink World. Bored of the Rings is my first attempt at a dmod. I'm hoping to write a sequel, but I need to work out the mechanics of it first. I love playing games. I thing the old super nintendo are some of the best.

A storyline might be Dink goes into a well to save a duck that fell in. The rope doesn't make it all the way down so he has to follow a path back up. At the bottom it's dark and Dink can only see a little. As he moves up the darkness gets lighter. The paths split off several times on the way up, some lead to dead ends, some to things Dink needs to move up (a ladder, rope), and other paths lead out of the maze. Dink must also find the duck and bring it along. Good luck.
