For most of us, life is unfortunately a huge series of compromises. Then you die. Happy or unhappy. I can't tell you what will make you happy, I can't tell that even to myself for myself.

I disagree. Life is short, and it gets subjectively shorter with each passing year. Note the word 'subjective'. The older you are, the faster time goes. Relaxing is fine, but doing nothing AND wasting time is worse.
Now, what the heck I wanted to say now...? As liquid mentioned, knowing your age would make things easier.
