It seems impossible to beat the timer on the puke clean up. How in sam hill do you beat the timer?

You clean them up faster than they can accumulate in the allotted amount of time.

Seriously though... umm... try following the two character around while pressing the Talk button so that you can pick up the pukes as they appear.
