does anyone know how the artwork was made?

does anyone know how the original dink artwork was made, and more specifically, how it was rendered in the dink palette? was it rendered in true color, and then converted? or was it rendered straight into the dink palette?

Well, I think they did it straight into the dink palette, because if you dont and then convert it, you get freaky colors. Nice work btw.

any idea how?? I've looked everywhere, including the blender online community...

then again, i could allways download the source code, and try to hack it, but I'm not much good with non-pythonic languages

Destroying noobs since 1999. 
The origional dink graphics were models made with 3d max/character studio. After they were made, still frames were caputered, and the dink pallete was applied.

ok... wouldn't it e cool if blender could automate this process? It would speed up the process a lot...
