And you thought it would never happen.
"Now that they have been given the perfect opportunity to meet at the Olympic Games, we may finally learn who is actually faster, Mario or Sonic?"
Umm, now let me think...

Yeah, pretty stupid question. At better contest would be for the High Jump... though I think Mario would win that.
Sonic and Mario are both pretty boaring Vid. Game Players, how bought a Dink Smallwood for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii ??
I am amazed by this. Truly am.
You can't say a whole series of probably hundreds of games is boring. There are so manny different Mario and Sonic games, in different genres.
Btw, they rock, old to new.

Weren't there some educational Mario games? I think I remember seeing one ages ago. We own Mario Is Missing and that is semi educational, not really all that fun either
But the series is still outstanding. Can't say much for Sonic though, I was deprived as a child Only had Nintendo

I wanna see GTA: Sesame Street.
Not a real big fan of Nintendo, I think all there systems fell short, besides the Wii and N64
The game cube was terrible
And as for Sonic, the first one was awsome, then it was all downhill from there.

Hey, good job at kicking off a potential console fanboy hatefest, Jake. I'll know who to blame if one breaks out.
I know I did, but the surprise is less if you look at how tons of Sonic games come out for Nintendo consoles nowadays.
I don't see how tons of Sonic games coming out for Nintendo consoles nowadays has anything to do with a console fanboy hatefest, but hey, more power to you.
I thought that you were talking on-topic when you said "that".
I thought that'd be the case Switch to nested view and you'll see how I replied to Striker.
No, which is why I jumped on it at the first sign of it heading in that direction.
Mario and Sonic in a game together = Not flameworthy
The _____ system sucks = flameworthy

Just simple facts, Super Nintendo got out sold by the sega. N64 Out sold any consel at the time. Game Cube was the least sold system out of Xbox and PS2. The Wii out sold every consel system this year so far. Its all facts of what I said

Well you can't really judge a system based on number sold. Xbox, Gamecube, and PS2 all had some great titles. Super Nintendo also had a large share of good games. I don't know about Sega, but I'm sure it had good games too. There is no best console, all have games that are worthwhile playing, and that's what it boils down to.
You also have to consider when looking at those statistics that many families bought a Wii just because it was more affordable and its star game came out so soon.

Exactly... the Sega Dreamcast didn't really sell anywhere close to the same number of that rivals in the same generation did, but yet is still considered to be a great system in the eyes of many gamers.

I don't like nested view. It crops the messages too much.
lol, consel. Anyway, consoles are made for games, so if the games are good the console is probably worth buying. Though nowadays a lot of games are on any of the consoles (except exclusives, like Mario, Zelda, and previously Sonic).
