It's what you guys've been asking for!

What do you want? Why? I'm not going to implement every single little thing because then Windemere would be released in a period of time longer than that of the time it takes Sabre to make a D-Mod!

Discuss.

- The ability to define new stats and place them on the UI.
- The ability to redesign the interface in regards to its size, location and x/y coordinates of the stats.
- The ability to remove the UI completely through coding (for cutscenes).

keep it real
if somehow you could have the status bar/ eq screen scripts open so you could just edit them how you like, that would allow all possibilities

I think adding and rearranging stats, like Kyle said, is by far the most important. The health bar needs work too, (kind of a stat I guess,) it also be (re)movable and some kind of support for even more health would (currently it only goes up to two bars) good.

I guess a general purpose command to add a sprite to the stat bar (and remove it later) would come in handy.

The inventory and Choice command leave something to be desired too, but I'm having a hard time thinking exactly how they could be customized.

For the choice menu I suggest a complete redesign, with customization as such :

The choice window, in other words, the frame should be customizable like it is in Dink. Change the graphic and you're done. I would suggest adding 2 features though.

- An arrow to indicate multiple pages
- A customizable graphic that serves as a "selected" state for an option. This could be a box around the option, a different color for the text or even animated text (pulsing, glowing, etc...).

Okay, I have all of these noted except this one:

- A customizable graphic that serves as a "selected" state for an option. This could be a box around the option, a different color for the text or even animated text (pulsing, glowing, etc...)

What do you mean? There already is a glowing square for the item selector. Or do you just want to be able to change this?

Hmm... 'be able to change everything' would be a good idea. What if I want to use the mouse to choose things in the inventory? What if I want a strength bar (like a life bar)? How about an enemy life bar?

But I think Kyle meant the choice_start box, not the inventory screen.

Yes, I meant hte choice_start window. Say you have this :

[TITLE]
Yes
No

Now, when you are about to select Yes or no, it's color changes to yellow (or green, I'm colourblind) in the original Dink. What I want to be able to do is this for example :

[TITLE]
(added glow)Yes
No

If yes is selected. If you push down, "No" will have the glow. This glow effect should be customizable.

Customizing the inventory... Hadn't thought about that in regards to the UI, but I guess it's part of it. I think being able to change everything would be a bit too hard and time consuming. But, how about :
- Mouse Selection
- Multiple Tabs (for example, a tab weapons, potions, key items, etc...)
- Being able to change every graphic (background, item selection cursor, item slot background, etc...)
- Larger number of inventory and magic slots, with a scroll option if it can't fit on one screen.

I wouldn't mind if I could alter the size of the slots. (so I could fit e.g. 50 item and magic slots per page)

I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to.I guess.
Maybe the ability to make the bars show the percent of health, and have the "health / total_health" displayed in words overtop? You could then do the same for the enemy health bar, but then you'd need a way to disable it for the first time you killed an enemy.

And yes, I DO want that kitchen sink to have a mind link!
