When I tell the fairy I'm ready to go to the castle, the game freezes and after it closes, DFARC says "Dink Smallwood Failed! Error code -805306369." What do I do?

You feed the madness, and it feeds on you.
Are you playing in 1.08?

Unfortunately the errors that it returns when it crashes aren't very helpful and I don't think many people are going to know what the error code refers to. Try FreeDink, you can load your game and if it still crashes, it might actually give you some useful information on why it crashed - Moreso than 1.08 anyway.

No, I think I use FreeDink. It's DFARC right?

Dfarc is a front end, not your version of Dink. Check your options in Dfarc and see what Exe your using.

If you really want to see the ending, you could try installing an earlier version of Dink (1.07 perhaps) and try again. Maybe CC doesn't cope too well with v1.08 (altough, I do remember a list where the community tested most of the available D-Mods?).

I seemed to have the same issue, playing with FreeDink. Looking around on the web I found this bug report. Trying without sound I could teleport to the castle just fine. Apparently, something in FreeDink/SDL/... doesn't like 15.mid, if you remove that file from the 'sound' directory, you can play with no problem. If yours is the same issue as mine, of course...
