no sprites
i have no tiles, sprites, nothing in windinkedit plus. its in the dink directory. how come nowhere on this site does it explain how to fix this problem.
I've never experienced that issue. Does this problem exist regardless of which dmod you open? Does the problem exist if you create a new dmod?
i opened the original game, there's just an error noise, no message, when i press t or r and nothing else happens. i can copy tiles from the original to another square on that map. no sprites appear in the sprite menu. scripts do (at least for dink vs milder 2)
I think I've had an error where the dink.ini file was ducked. Try running the original game and see if it restores it.
reinstalled it, didn't work. still nothing appearing. followed the d mod making tutorial to put it in, still nothing appearing.
Skurn didn't mean to reinstall it, just fire up the game and quit. Then try again.
Personally I've found that it helps to not install Dink in the Program Files folder too.

Or, install it, then take it out.
Seriously, keep Dink away from program files. Ever since Microsoft wiped their asses with their programmers and created Vista, it's done some weird things involving hiding the dmods in some unknown location (possibly hidden somewhere in appdata).
Apparently, there's an error when installing some dmods. Don't really know what, but if you take Dink out and put it somewhere safer and then override the path to its new location, it installs the dmods just fine. From where, though? Who knows. They're invisible as far as I know.

Not in Program Files? Probably shouldn't install it in the windows folder either. Probably.
Personally I install all my games in C:/Games , this may be different for you of course.
