After you kill the dragon and pick up the Sabretrout, Dink HD crashes.

That's HD's fault, not the game. If you can move your saves from HD to regular Dink, just do that.

Can you even do that? I hope Dink HD doesn't have a different format or some shit.

EDIT: Aw, shit. They're way different. At least you don't need the Sabretrout. Like...at all. There's far stronger weapons.

I read the subject line as "Dragon hug." That would be nice. Someone should put that in a game.

You can move savebot saves. Just not the quicksaves or state saves.

When you say regular Dink, do you mean DFARC?

"Regular" pretty much means either v1.08 or FreeDink. I guess anything below v1.08 would technically be regular too, but I doubt anybody really plays those versions anymore.

Whenever I try run Dink 1.08, it crashes as soon as I try to load a D-MOD.

You can move the dmods into the folder where you installed FreeDink, or go to DFArc -> edit -> options, and add the path to the dmods in the 'additional dmods directory' field.

Dmods installed for DinkHD should be in a subdirectory of it, for example, C:\Dink Smallwood HD\dmods\
