green mushrooms problem

Before discovering that I needed 6 mushrooms,I already ate all the mushrooms from the winery 
And now I only have the 3 mushrooms from the big pig. Can't they grow or something?

Hmm... it's been ages since I played Stone of Balance, so my memories about it aren't exactly very clear. You might want to try the walkthrough, and see if you can find an answer there.
You may already be screwed on the mushrooms. It's possible to miss out on a lot of things in SOB.

You could restart. I think cheating would be more trouble than it's worth in this case.

The green mushroom quest isn't required though, but completing it is very useful. Usually in SoB there's another way to get the same item/spell/whatever later on, if you missed out on a previous quest, although it might be a bit more difficult. That's the case with this quest too, so you don't have to start all over again.
Well, there's a certain character you need to give the skull to in order to finish the quest, but you can also kill him and you'll end up getting the same item.
SOB is one of those games which, in my opinion, you'll enjoy more if you regularly consult a walkthrough to check that you didn't miss anything vital. The dmod likes to punish you for not doing things "correctly", and you don't want to find out you missed hellfire forever halfway through the second chapter... I speak from experience.
