Mountain Story
Not a D-mod in any sense, but rather a game created with RPG Maker VX Ace.
Mountain Story is a JRPG style game inspired by such amazing games such as Dink Smallwood and other titles that I forgot about right now.
The game starts with young swordsman, Marco, whom after a humiliating defeat sets off on a journey of understanding...
Or something like that.
Mountain Story is a game that takes itself seriously, even though it doesn't. It parodies many different tropes, such as buildings being larger on the inside than on the outside, cutscene power versus gameplay, and a plethora of other things.
I will get screenshots for the game as soon as I can find a way to get them. (Printscreen key on my keyboard doesn't work.)
(Current game status: 45% Complete.)
If anyone wants to contribute any music to it, I'd be happy to use it. (You'll be in the credits!)

I know, but I don't want to spend hours taking multiple screenshots and trying to match them up together. It gets very annoying.
Why would you have to match them up together?
Because the On-Screen Keyboard appears in the screenshots.
Ooh, right. I suppose you could move it as far done as possible and cut a little bit of the shot off.
Anyways, sounds pretty cool.

Thanks. Quick question, the MIDI files in the files section of the forum are able to be used by anyone as long as I note who made them, correct?
Usually. I believe there are some files that people only want used in Dink-related things, but that's always stated in the readme file.
Will it have a turn based battle system? Usage of many characters? Are you gonna add a lot of stats to gain? How large a game are you making?
Well, it is turn based, it has five characters, and stats are gained as you level, and as you acquire items that boost them. I'm planning on a medium-sized game, nothing too long or complex, but nothing too simple.
