I am currently stuck where I am supposed to bring treasure to the guard. The guard suggests the King's treasure room, but I have no idea where that is. Any hints on who I should talk to would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Where is the king? At home in his castle probably.
Where would the king put his treasure room? Well there's really only one place in the castle to look, the basement.

Ah. I was unable to see the path leading to the treasure room from the basement.

Another question: is the red button machine a dead end? I can't seem to find a way out of where it sent me.

Nope. There's a staircase that's hard to see, it's somewhere along the leftmost wall.

Ah. Found it.

Last thing: how do you get to the imprisoned guy in the Goblin VIllage? I guess there's some rock that needs breaking (I've found 5 out of 10 of them), but I have no idea where. Any hints?

How do you say your ghostly name, I don't mean to be offensive or anything, but still.

Progress has been made: for future players: punching works wonders for freeing the dude in the Goblin village.

I'm currently at 7 out of 15 rocks. I have been able to figure out through a hardness bug where another one is, as well as the final corpse, but I've no idea how to get to there. That, currently, is the most baffling mystery leftover (I want to beat the game at 100%).

What version are you playing? Cause the newest one should have that hardness bug fixed.

I'm playing version 1.50 on Dink Smallwood HD (Mac OS X Lion). I've run into the hardness bugs while holding down the speed-up button (TAB) to get around, so maybe they're not strictly hardness bugs per se. One is in the most north-east screen of the Goblin lands (river, tree, one screen east of some 'slugs', one screen west of the boundary with Tutras. It's slightly up and to the right of the tree closest to the water; I get to walk on water.

There's an actual hardness bug in the screen in the Basement with the life-extending heart behind the breakable wall. It is possible to partially walk through the east wall of the enclosure from the inside to the middle of the wall.

Where is this exactly? I searched behind all the breakable walls I can think of, and none of them had a hardness bug anywhere near them.

Hi, skull,

In this screenshot, Dink is halfway through the wall. If he walks forward he disappears inside and almost pops out on the other side.

I would appreciate any hint on how to get the final 10% of the game (I get to 90% by the credits). I have found 8 out of the 15 breakable rocks, and have hit all the rocks that I've been able to find (hydra-fire seems to work as well for breaking the rocks). I have not been able to get to the southwest village, I'm guessing that is not necessarily an area one can go to?

I think you want to examine the walls in the area where you couldn't find the stair before.

I don't see how a hardness bug in the place you show on the picture can lead to you discovering anything, though. It just leads you to a piece of the room you could reach anyway...

You can't go to the village where the imprisoned guy is. You should however go to the fairy village, which is also southwest.

shevek, I found the final corpse and 8th rock the proper way. Do you mean to suggest that I should examine those walls to find something else?

There was a hardness issue (possibly only in Dink Smallwood HD's speed-up thingy) in a different place (behind a tree next to the 'slugs') by the river in the Goblin lands.

Aha, I figured you might mean that. Seeing as you said East side though, I wasn't exactly sure. But as Shevek said, that hardness error shouldn't be able to lead you anywhere secret. Well, except to the golden heart which is quite easy to access anyway.

EDIT: Wait, you actually managed to play this on Dink HD?! It always crashed for me.

Sorry, I always get east and west confused... still, gonna have to go break some rocks, I guess.

No, if you found all the corpses, then you already found what I meant. I was just guessing at which corpse you were still missing, but appearantly I guessed wrong.
