Avatar
Went to the premiere and saw the movie 'Avatar'. Gotta admit that it is one of the best films ever made. The only downer was that it is (agh, how do you say it?) permitted for 11 years and up, resulting in too small amounts of gore and blood and low fear-factor. Otherwise it is really a science-fiction adventure to the max.
Anyone else seen it?
Anyone else seen it?
Nope,but I heard that it's not bad...
I'll consider to see it.
I'll consider to see it.
Somehow this movie doesn't appeal to me at all.

Just the opposite for me, I'm excited to see it sometime.

Really now... I guess I'll have to keep my open for more reviews.
This movie just looks awful. Too much CG is abused in it, too the point the visuals are ugly.
Lol, every time I watch a commercial i get a minor headache from all the CG.
I think i'm going to see one tomorrow, but the invitation was obscure.
I think "Clover field" is better now...After seeing that.
Really? Cloverfield sucked pretty hard.
Different people have different views...
i cant wait to see it! it was the most expensive movie ever made!
Yeah, there's alot of epic battle sequences I tell you.

Hey guys, I am staying at my brothers house atm, we are having a LAN party with a whole heap of other people, so I just thought I'd drop in here and see what's happening (using his internet connection, yes, can you believe I still do not have the internet on yet).
Just saw this thread, and thought I'd give my opinion since I saw this movie 3 days ago.
I think it was awesome... also, for those who are judging it on the trailer, I disliked the trailer too, actually, I thought it looked crap when I saw the trailer, but the trailer does just the opposite of what most trailers do, that is overhype it.... this trailer underhypes it in my opinion. The trailer is a disappointment. The only reason I saw it is because a friend went to see it and invited me, and I have to see, it's one of the best movies I've seen for a long time.
There were a few flaws still though... like that colonel (won't spoil anything), but he had no motivation behind anything he was doing, he was just like... "Look there's something, let's blow it up", "And there's a living thing, I better blow it's head and launch a billion missiles at it" <<< not direct quotes, but simply the type of attitude he gives off, he was just too.... cliche' in my opinion, but other than that it was a great movie.
(I Will be dropping in occasionally, in the future, when I can as well, but not very often probably... currently studying uni still and whatever spare time i get, I spend with my friends and life in general)

I'm hanging out for Alice in Wonderland. Should be sweeeeet - I mean, it was by Burton. My one concern though, is that Lewis Carrol's Alice was like, 7. So I wonder how good it'll be with a 19 year old brat trolloping through stoner-heaven? Which reminds me, Solomon Kane should just about be finished by now....
The movie was freakin' awesome! even though it had a liberal 'humans are bad, nature is good' standpoint.
