Purpose: This file lets you change the standard texts that Dink says when you press spacebar in a D-mod but there is nothing to talk to and when you press shift but Dink has no spells yet. There is also a health-percentage-meter that is visible on the top of the screen and that is just plain text.

Installation: Unzip the zipped file and you will see the same folders used for a D-mod since you can watch the different texts in a demo. There is a readme file with step by step instructions on how to use this in your own D-mod. You can change the lines of text in a file, so you can choose your own texts.

Good: It works good and it is easy to use. The readme also says what you have to uninstall if you do not want the text that Dink says when he has no magic yet or when you do not want the health-percentage-meter.

Not so good: I am not fond of the health-percentage-meter. I think it distracts your attention and you already have a healthbar so there is no need for a second one.

Overall: A nice file that is easy to use.

Fit for: If you want to change Dink’s texts.

I find this to be a great dev. File, It allows you to override the "I cant use or talk to that" Type statements as well as the "I'm no wizard" Type statements with whatever you choose as well as the ability to change these statements if a particular variable is in place. Overall I find this a very interesting little tool and I believe that all D-mod authors should use this.

I think this file is great... Really useful for the DMOD author who wants to make an alt hero DMOD, if not for the original Dink hero.

It comes as a demonstration DMOD of 4 screens, as well as a good read me file as to what to do to install it.

What I really liked was the way you can use this to have Dink/main character interact with changes on the screen. You can see this in action by starting a fire on a house in another screen and when Dink wanders back to that screen he now comments on the house burning instead of the standard "I'm bored" statements. Really excellent I thought.

I didn't like the health bar at the top of the screen, and that was about all I didn't like. But this too is customisable.

Until a new version of the Dink Engine comes out, this mthod of changing the text is very cool.
