Purpose: This lets you cheat in a D-mod.
Use: When pressing escape, you can activate the cheat. It will give you an attack, defence and magic of 999 and gold of 90.000.
Installation: The installation is real simple: copy or move the cheat.d file to the story folder of the D-mod you want to use cheat in and rename it to escape.d. Make a copy of the original escape.d as a back up in case you want to change it back.
Good: Installation and use is real simple.
Not so good: The cheatmen.txt says that you should copy the cheat.d file into the dinkstory folder, but you have to copy it to the story folder of the D-mod you want to use the cheat in, in order to make it work. It did not work when the file was copied to the dink folder. For people who just want to play and cheat, and do not want to be bothered with copying and renaming files, there are better cheats, such as the Dink Smallwood Trainer. You can not undo the cheat – unless of course you copy back the escape.d file.
Overall: A good cheat, but not that many features.

When you replace the cheat.d in the zipfile with the escape.d file in your dink/story directory (to uninstall: just make a backup of the escape.d file before you replace it with the file in the readme, then you can place the backup back to uninstall this cheatmenu), it'll add a Cheat Menu to the Escape Menu. The cheat can be used to receive full health, 90,000 gold and all your stats will be taken to 999. Ok, so I press Escape in the game and I see that three lines have been added to let ya know that you're using a Cheat Menu from Nathan..oh well. The normal Escape Menu options are there and under View/change gamepad buttons, is now a new option, named: Activate Cheats. When you use this option, you'll get a message that the cheats have been activated and after you press Ok, the cheats will be activated.
The changes you make with this Cheat Menu are permanent so you can't change it back later in the game (well, not with this Cheat Menu then). This should be The Ultimate Menu Cheat, according to the readme but it doesn't have that many cheats to be that. Also, when you have more than the cheats in the Cheat Menu (for example, if you have more than 90,000 gold), then they will be taken down to the number that the Cheat Menu gives you.
Overall: You can use this cheat to change the stats without being able to change them back. The cheat is ok but there are better cheats out there and they provide a better way to cheat your way through the game.

Not a bad cheat overall... not hard to install. but make sure you copy the ESCAPE.D file before dont take a risk. When activated you will recieve 90,000 gold and
a 999 stat max out.

If you have 90,000+ you lose anything over that and go back down to 90,00
You aren't able to undo this move which is a MAJOR set back for instance i like to cheat in difficult areas to get through them with less agitation then when things are back to ok i switch back to normal...this here is not possible...

A so-so cheat wouldn't call great but not horrible either... it's lacking some more codes other than the few offered...Your cheats are permanate which is not a good thing...

ersonal Opinion:: Download if you are the king the loves cheating a doesnt find it bothersome ... but me i would find something with WAY MORE cheat options than this...also a control over the levels would be nice
